KiSTA have created this website in order to reach those in Seaton and the local surrounding communities, to bring together like minded people and to promote 'The Arts'.  |
KiSTA, the Seaton Visitors Centre Trust’s art group, held their third annual ‘Arts Fest’ in the Town Hall on the Bank holiday Monday. Instead of running another one for 2012, we are teaming up with the NATURAL SEATON FESTIVAL in June, building on the success of previous years we will be coming up with new activities to compliment the theme of the festival, offering a wide choice for all age groups. Our aim has always been to offer our local community and holiday makers, a fun day filled with creativity, good food and entertainment.
As a result of the workshops we intorduced, a photography club now meets on a regular basis to share ideas, knowledge and develop skills. Anyone interested in taking part should email: kista.seaton@yahoo.co.uk
These events are a success because of the energy and enthusiasm of the people helping, entertaining, cooking, exhibiting, demonstrating and offering hands on activities, who gave of their time freely.

To finish on a light note: A family of four who attended last year's event, ages ranging from 5 – 30 approximately, ‘popped in’ at 10am, and stayed all day. They left at 4pm with their faces painted and clutching their painted artwork, sugar-craft animals, drift-wood mirrors, dinosaurs, hand-made cards, and having eaten and enjoyed the entertainment.
